Create your college list (CUNY, SUNY, private schools)
Start and submit college applications
Request recommendation letters (at least 2β3 weeks in advance)
Begin working on your personal statement (if required)
Attend college fairs, visits, and workshops
Start your FAFSA application

Focus: Financial Aid + Deadlines
Complete FAFSA (student + parent sections)
Complete TAP application (NYS students)
Submit any remaining college applications
Check email regularly for college updates
Attend financial aid workshops if needed
Begin searching and applying for scholarships

Focus: Decisions + Graduation Clearance
Review college acceptance letters
Compare financial aid packages
Accept your college offer (Decision Day is typically May 1)
Continue applying for scholarships
Ensure ALL graduation requirements are met (credits + Regents)
Resolve any missing requirements immediately
