Hello! My name is Tenzin Kunga, and I am a math teacher currently teaching Algebra 2 and AP Calculus. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Math and a Master of Science in Math Secondary Education from CUNY City College. I have been teaching math for 6 years, with experience working with both middle and high school students.

I’m passionate about working with diverse learners, especially newcomers to the country, as I can relate to their experiences, being an immigrant myself. I believe that education is one of the most powerful pathways to economic security and personal growth. 

In my math classes, I focus on fostering a deeper understanding of how mathematical patterns and sequences can help explain the world around us. I enjoy showing students how math not only builds critical thinking skills but also serves as a foundation for exploring complex concepts in fields like finance, technology, and science.
