The photo on the header of this edition of Elementary News was taken by one of the Elementary teammates, Kristie Zimmerman. This purple tulip is one of hundreds in mid-bloom right now thanks to the supportive efforts of our community during our tulip sale this Fall.

Do you know a family that would appreciate our low class sizes, dedicated staff, community volunteers, new & engaging curriculum, and an opportunity to earn a free associates degree upon graduating from our high school?
Have them call or email the school's Principal, Matt Webster, and he will personally give a tour of the school or answer any questions as they consider joining our Eagle Family!

Each school is required to report accurate attendance, tardies, and illnesses. Calling or emailing our office is the single most efficient way to communicate those to us.
(The county auditors do not accept text messages to a teacher as an authorized documentation of reasons for absences or tardies)
We appreciate your assistance in communicating absences and illnesses with us.

You may not be aware of this but on Schoolcraft Community School's "One Page Plan" there is a list of values we share that shape how we operate as an organization. One of those values is "Focus on Family". As an elementary school, we decided to start sharing a space of our newsletter that is dedicated to offering ideas and ways to make that family time a priority for everyone, just as we, that work for Schoolcraft Schools, try to keep our own families a priority.
The "Family Time" idea for this edition of Elementary News is...
