Course Outline
Geography allows you to understand the complex world around you. The course involves a broad range of modules dealing with general topics of physical and human geography and also specialist areas for example poverty, sustainability and environmental issues.
Throughout the course, we will address issues such as:
Why are some places more vulnerable to natural hazards?
Are we causing climate change?
Is a global culture emerging?
Why is migration such a contentious issue?
How do we use the coast as a resource?
How can we solve the world’s water and food shortage problems?
