Navigate through the Virtual Classroom by clicking on the following objects:

1) Smithton Cougars Poster : This link takes you to the Smithton Website. There you will find a more detailed school calendar, teacher pages, district info, and many other important things for Smithton Grade School. Remember: You can also download the Smithton App! 

2) "Future of the World" Picture : This takes you to Mrs. Williams's Monthly "Newsletter" document.

3) Clock : By clicking on this, you can see what the 6th Grade Daily Schedule looks like. You can see where each homeroom is during the day! There is also a schedule for Half Day Dismissals!

4) Promethean Board : There are two links- one is just for ELA work/homework, and the second links to a page that lists homework for the other core classes for Mrs. Runyon & Mrs. Smith (Social Studies, Science, and Math). 

5) The Keurig coffee machine : This links to a "Starbooks" cafe scene where there are links to some websites the kids will use frequently in ELA class, such as the AR Quiz website, Readworks, Epic Books, Mrs. Williams's YouTube channel, IXL, etc.

6) Planner : This takes you to a monthly calendar of events for class and/or Smithton School.

7) Cell Phone : This is a page of important contact information for Mrs. Williams.

8) Desk Caddy : On this page you will find Mrs. Williams's Classroom Wish List & Shopping Favorites. (items she uses, TpT, & Amazon links, too)

9) Laptop on Desk: This takes you to a page that explains the "Class Cash" System ($$$). This is a classroom economy system that Mrs. Williams uses in her classroom to help teach money management; it also has incentives for the kids (things they can earn & purchase).

10) Literature Book in the white cube shelf : This links to a Central Perk cafe scene where you can find the requirements/directions for each Quarter Reading Project. The students are required to do independent reading and complete certain elements each quarter. This slide will have a link that attaches to the document explaining these requirements and the due date for each Quarter Project. Please make sure to check this each quarter to see what your child should do!
