Ms. Walton was born and raised in Savannah. She left the city to start pursuing her Bachelor of Arts in English at Berry College in Rome Ga, but transferred to the university formerly known as Armstrong State to move back home and be closer to family. At ASU, she finished her B.A. in English and also earned her Master's in Teaching. She has gained teaching experience from The STEM Academy, Richmond Hill High School, and Hubert Middle School.
In her free time, she enjoys practicing piano, reading, and playing video games. Ms. Walton is passionate about literacy and critical thinking skills and is honored to be an educator tasked with helping young people become well-rounded and productive members of society.
