If a student desires an ATAR they must ensure they have:
8 Units of Category A subjects
2 Units of English
3 Board Developed Courses of 2 units or greater
4 subjects
The process for selecting subjects is outlined below:
Step 1. Information Provided to students and families
Step 2. HSC Streams identified for students
Step 3. Round 1 of Subject Selections (All potential subjects)
Step 4. Evet Courses and In-School Traineeship applications commence
Step 5. Round 2 of Subject Selections (selections narrowed)
Step 6. Finalising of 2022 courses and streams as well as modes of study
Step 7. Students finalise their study program for 2022
All Students MUST complete:
Minimum of 12 Units of study in Year 11
Minimum of 10 Units of study in Year 12
Most Courses taught in senior study are 2 Units of study with only a small number of courses being offered as 1 Unit of study.

Combined Vocational Training and HSC Pathway
Non-ATAR HSC Pathway
