To continue to develop awareness and understanding of First Nation, Métis and Inuit cultures, histories and perspectives in all St. Clair Catholic District School Board classrooms as we work towards improving student achievement and well-being among First Nation, Métis, and Inuit students.

To build reciprocal relationships with the First Nations, Métis, and Inuit communities based on trust, mutual respect, and sharing that will support and nurture the growing success of First Nation, Métis, and Inuit students and all students as we serve as partners in the learning environments across St. Clair Catholic District School Board.

Participate in the Third Progress Report Survey

The Ministry of Education has engaged a team of researchers who will engage with students, parents/guardians and families, teaching and nonteaching staff, Indigenous communities, organizations and partners, and school boards to gather feedback and input to inform the development of the Third Progress Report on the implementation of the First Nations, Métis and Inuit Education Policy Framework

As part of the engagement and data collection process, there is an online survey which is intended to capture the successes and help to identify promising practices and opportunities across the province to provide further support to enhance the achievement and well-being of Indigenous students.

Everyone’s views are important, whether or not you feel you have a little or great deal of experience to share! The survey is voluntary and confidential. The information received will be combined anonymously in a report that will be used to inform the development of the Third Progress Report.
