I received my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education with a minor in Early Childhood from the University of Wisconsin - La Crosse. After graduation, I taught 1st & 3rd grade in Mesa, Arizona before moving to Shell Lake, WI where I taught for six years and found my passion in Kindergarten :) I joined the amazing team here at SCC in 2016 as the Central Kids Care DIrector. I enjoyed building up the program and getting to know the staff and families here within the district while being home with my two youngest during the day, and now am very excited to be back in the classroom again this year!

My husband Tom teaches Social Studies at the high school and coaches girls basketball and varsity baseball. We have four children, Allison (9), Emma (7), Isabelle (5) and Jordan (2). We feel very blessed to call St Croix Central our home and are looking forward to raising our family here.

Kindergarten to me means making new friends, learning new ideas, reading new books, solving new problems, playing new games, reaching new goals, making new mistakes and having FUN the whole way through! Thank YOU parents for trusting me with your most prized possessions. I look forward to a wonderful year of learning and growing.
