My name is Jonalee Buckel and I am teaching Language Arts 8 as well as coaching middle school Forensics and middle school track and field this year at SCC. I am a high school English virtual education teacher as well.

My Educational Background

At UW-River Falls, I attained a bachelors degree in English and later returned to complete my Wisconsin teaching certification. I also attended the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, where I earned my masters degree in English. I enjoy taking pictures, running, reading, knitting, and researching new teaching strategies.

My Family

My husband Chris and I live in Hammond with our children, dog Journey, and cats Asher and Fletch. My own children range in age from 14-27 and keep us busy with school and sporting events and college-level activities.
