SCC has partnered with a third party insurance vendor, and if you wish to enroll in optional insurance coverage for the Chromebook, the cost is $20.00 per device per year. The insurance covers damage to the Chromebook, however, it does not cover damage to the:

1. Charger

2. To the device that has occurred due to neglect

3. To the District provided carrying case

4. Devices that have been lost

The insurance will cover devices that are stolen with a copy of a police report. Payment for the optional insurance coverage can be made during Open House or dropped off at the building office prior. Please make checks payable to SCC with your child(ren)s name on the memo line.

Chromebooks not covered by the optional insurance will be charged a flat rate of $25.00 per item that is damaged.
