A reimbursable lunch includes an entree, vegetables, fruit, and milk. A la carte (including extra items such as chips, drinks like water bottles, juices, etc.) are not part of a USDA reimbursable meal and can NOT be charged to a student’s account. Meal accounts must have sufficient funds to purchase a la carte items.
All adults, staff, and parents wishing to eat school meals must have sufficient funds to pay for their meals and/or items.
Negative Account Balances
The school district will make reasonable efforts to collect unpaid meal charges classified as delinquent debt. If the debt becomes ongoing the board reserves the right to provide and alternative lunch or in some cases refuse service.
