• What are the SMS Library hours? 

  • • Mondays: 7:30 am - 2:36 pm

    • Tuesdays - Fridays: 7:30 am - 3:25 pm

• How many library books may I check out at one time?

  • • Patrons may borrow up to five books at one time. Please return your books as soon as you finish so that other readers have access. 

• How long may I borrow a book for?

  • • When you check out a book it is due in 21 days. You may renew books you are reading, as long as no one is waiting for it. 

• If I return a book after it is due, is there a fine?

  • • No, we do not charge fines for late books. 

• What do I do if I cannot find a book I checked out? 

  • • Please let Ms. Frazin or a library aide know as soon as possible. 

• If I need help, what do I do? 

  • • Ask! Our job is to help. 

The SMS Library is a hub for learning, exploring and connecting. The library is a shared space designed to meet the needs of students and faculty. Our goal is to create a welcoming environment that's conducive to productivity, reading and discovery. 

The following guidelines ensure that everyone can make the most of this special space:

1. STUDY: 

   • The library is for quiet study. 

2. READING: 

   • The library is for quiet reading.

3. CONVERSATION: 

   • The library is for quiet conversation. 

4. BEVERAGES & FOOD: 

   • Water, only. There is no eating in the library. 

5. GAMES, PUZZLES, & CRAFTS: 

   • In the library classroom, when available. 

6. TECHNOLOGY: 

   • School iPads are for school work only.
