The course is part of the Summer Program at Rutgers, offered by the Department of Biochemistry and Microbiology in the School of Environmental and Biological Sciences. In the course, we explore recombinant protein expression in E. coli and the purification of the expressed protein, using Green Fluorescent Protein (GFP) as a model. Students showcase their GFP project explorations in science posters, presenting experimental methodology and results in creative ways.
