About:

I'm a postdoctoral associate in Prof. Anand Sarwate's group at Rutgers University, NJ, USA. I'm also affiliated with DIMACS. Before that, I was a 5G wireless researcher in mm-Wave lab at Fraunhofer Heinrich Hertz Institute, Berlin, Germany.

I received my Ph.D. degree from Technische Universit├Ąt Berlin, and my M.sc. from Jacobs University Bremen.

Current Research:

I am interested in distributed machine learning, in particular, the communication aspects of distributed optimization problems involving machine learning. I am also interested in privacy aspects of learning algorithms, mostly in the framework of differential privacy.

Previous Research:

I have been using signal processing and optimization tools for designing future wireless communication networks. Moreover, I have worked on information-theoretic secrecy for different network structures with strong secrecy criterion.
