Google Drive

This is a place for our students to store and produce evidence of their learning.

How to Log on to Google Tools

Your child's username for Google is their "first name [dot] last name [last 4 of their student ID]@ sbusd.net". For example, Han.Solo1970@sbusd.net. Their password will be their birthday in reverse. So if your student's birthday is 03/13/2013, her password would be 20130313.

Other Tools

STMath

Students need to access STMath through their school website.

Their password is a 13-character visual password.

DreamBox

Students need to access DreamBox through their school website.

Their username and password are the same as their Google login.

To access ST Math and DreamBox, go to students.sbusd.org, then click on SCHOOL LINKS then choose your school site and use the links there to jump to ST Math or DreamBox. You may have to "Allow Flash" for ST Math to work properly.

What to do if you see your student struggling with the content:

  • Ask them questions, like: “What have you tried?” or “What information do you already know?” and “What are trying to find out?”

  • Give them time to struggle a little.

  • Encourage them to draw a picture, use counters (around the house you can use beans, pasta, pennies, etc) or other tools to help figure it out.
