Keeping Devices Clean

  • Turn off and unplug components before cleaning.

  • Wring out any disinfecting wipe, so it’s moist instead of saturated.

  • Do not pour or spray liquid directly on the devices.

  • Do not use sanitizer gel on the devices as it can also cause water damage.

  • You can use rubbing alcohol or a bleach solution on a cloth if you don’t have wipes. (Keep in mind bleach will break down plastic over time if used too frequently). Apply to the cloth first, then wipe down the device. Let set for 5 minutes before using a dry cloth to remove any moisture.

If you are reaching out to our FamilyTechSupport@sbusd.org mailbox, please include the Serial Number for the device. Go to the Manager app, then tap "Device info".
