***If you have a school recorder, please take good care of it so that at the end of the school year, it is in the same condition as when you got it. Using these instruments is a privilege! I know you will take care them so make me proud. :)

Answer these questions after you have listened to both videos:
What instruments are being played in the videos?
Which version did you enjoy more? 2 cellos or the cello quartet (4 cellos)?
Why did you like that group better?
Which group sounded more intense? Why?
What do you think of each location for the videos?
Did the locations contribute to the feel of "pirates"?
Did you notice in the second video (with 4 cellos) what they are in? Is it really the inside of a ship? Or something else??? ;)
Find enough space in your house where you can move around and dance with Rujeko, the dancer.
If you don't have a drum, NO WORRIES!
Grab a pan, pot, empty trashcan...whatever you have in your house than can be used as a drum!

Listen to the first 3:20 minutes of a famous piece by Antonio Vivaldi called Spring.
Answer the following questions:
a. I really liked __________________.
b. I did not like __________________.
c. I heard lots of sounds in the piece. Some of the sounds were like animals, such as ________________.
On a piece of paper draw what you hear. This can be animals, nature, scenery, etc. Make it colorful, just like the season...SPRING!
Watch the first video (Bunny Hop Moves) and practice the moves with me.
2. Watch the second video (Bunny Hop Demo) to practice the moves with the music. Ask a few people in your house to join you!
3. Play the third video to practice the dance with the music! Have FUN :)

Ta-ah (2 beats)
Ta-ah-ah-ah (4 beats)
If you know these 5 rhythms well, you can continue.
Review the 3 notes we have learned so far at school.

Study which line or space these 3 notes are found on. This is their home, always.
Study the fingering chart and review how many fingers you need for each note. Try to get as comfortable as you can with B, A, & G. You will be playing different songs using these notes.

***You need to keep track of which notes are A & B. So before you start, review where each home is.
