When asked about how his favorite part of producing the film, TIM talked about working on location: "So we were in a place called Cape Breton, Nova Scotia, which is way on the east coast of Canada. Lots of water, very small, and we really had to get our hands dirty...Because a lot of times, you know, you make stuff, you might be in a studio, There's something about going into the place where a story was from, and being part of that, that is really special."

When asked about her teenage aspirations, LARA replied 'I wanted to be a composer, a conductor, not only a violinist. But then everything went wrong. And all of a sudden it was just about survival. And so, finally I'm kind of taking back my voice, I feel like, after 40 years."
On the red carpet for the Maltin Modern Master Award, reporters CORAL & ELLERY spoke with some of the team behind the documentary "Dear Lara", editor CHRISTIE HERRING, cinematographer PATRICK HAMM, and producer CHRISTY McGILL.
When asked about the biggest message they want people to take away from the film, the response was "...the biggest message is that the abuse that we're portraying in the film needs to end. And in a way, it's shocking that this film needs to be made today. Because, you know, the fact that this type of abuse happens has not been a secret for a long time."
In the press line for the Maltin Modern Master Award, reporters CORAL & ELLERY spoke with the COO of the production company behind the documentary "Mockbuster", PAUL BALES.
Declaring that at his company "We make bad movies," and answering which was the "baddest" ("One of the Sharknado's, I think..."), he went on to talk about making a good one. "It's a documentary about how we make our movies. And the director is here as well, from Australia. We threw him into a shark tank, so to speak."
