As Skippy the dog is searching for food, he finds his owner, Maria unresponsive. All of the sudden, the Aztec god of death, Xolotl comes to their house while Skippy shows the experiences he and his owner had together.
The film XOLO directed by Matthew Serrano shows the heartfelt experiences a dog has with their owner and is very well put together. The film shows scenes of drama and then switches to a more comedic tone. Although the film has a slow start, the heartfelt ending makes the watch worthwhile.
This film is a great example of short but sweet, it has very little words but is very worth the watch.
Overall, I would give this a 9/10. I would recommend this film to anyone who has 13 minutes of spare time. It is definitely worth watching and has an important message about appreciating the time you have with the people you love.
