Gale's scholarly resources include databases and primary sources, as well as learning resources and products for schools and libraries. The student e-library is a repository of ebooks and searchable online databases containing additional ebooks, periodicals, videos, images, and magazine articles.
Click on the eBooks Tab
Click into a category or scroll to see all available eBooks
Click onto a Book
Select "View eBook" to open the eBook in a viewer window OR Select a section from the Table of Contents to view in website format
Click the Electronic Resources Tab
Choose the resource you would like to use.
Use the search bar for basic searches
Use the drop down to do an advanced search
Use "View eBook" or Table of Contents to view the material
Topics contain information in multiple formats which may include Book Articles, Pictures, Magazine Articles, News information, Pictures, ect.
Information can be sent to Google Classroom.
Students can highlight and annotate information. This information can be saved and referred back too.
A Dictionary feature can be used o access additional vocabulary.
The Educator Resources tab connects teachers to additional resources.
Content can be leveled.
Content can be translated to a variety of languages.
Text size can be adjusted.
The Listen feature allows students to access the text through text-to-speech.
Related subjects tab links the learner to additional related content.
