More Details:
We have established classroom rules for students using Zoom (in their homeroom)
Do I need to create a Zoom account for my student?
No, students do not need to have an account to join a Zoom meeting. It is best if they don't have an account at all.
Do students have to turn on their webcam to use Zoom?
No, they don't have to allow their webcam, but it nice for teachers and students to see each other during this closure.
Can anyone join the meeting?
No. They must have the link. We are doing this to prevent unwanted guests in our Zoom meetings. (Zoom-bombers)
What happens if students are misbehaving or being inappropriate during a Zoom meeting?
Teachers have the ability to kick students out of the Zoom meeting and report students to our Student Support team.
Can teachers share their screen with students?
Yes. Teachers control what the students see.
Is the Zoom meeting being recorded? Is Chat being recorded?
Some teachers may record the meetings, without student faces, so that it can be used at a later date
