Can I Make a Light Bulb Last Longer Than a Regular Bulb

Building a light bulb that will last longer than a normal one.

This week I was in my room playing games with my friend, and my fan light burned out. I had to replace it with a new light bulb. While I was walking to get the new bulb, I asked myself, “I wonder how I could make light bulbs last longer than they normally do?” There are many different kinds of light bulbs in the world, but I want to test if I can make a cheap light bulb last longer than one that is more expensive. If this test works out with the cheap bulb I could probably share this with others to help them not spend a lot of money and upgrade their bulb. If this project works the way I hope it will, I will be able to share my results with lots of people!

This project will help me and my parent with the light bulbs we currently have. I think the more wires in the bulb itself will make the bulb brighter, and if I change some of the different parts and switch them around, the bulb will last longer than it normally should. If I add a stronger wire, this could also make the light bulb’s chemistry work better.
