Violeta Montes - Department Chair
As the World Language Department Chair, I bring 12 years of teaching experience, a B.A. in Spanish Language and Linguistics, and a Masters in the same field. My passion for culture drives my teaching approach, emphasizing real-world applications of Spanish. I foster an environment where language learning transcends the classroom, encouraging students to engage authentically with Spanish-speaking communities. With a deep appreciation for linguistic diversity, I aim to cultivate not only language proficiency but also cultural empathy and global awareness among students in our department.
