Our Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) program has received the highest level of recognition from ABET, a leading global accreditor of college and university programs. We were awarded full accreditation for 6 years, the longest possible term, from both the Computing Accreditation Commission (CAC) and the Engineering Accreditation Commission (EAC). This accreditation is effective from October 2023 through September 2031.
This prestigious achievement is a testament to our dedication to maintaining international quality standards, innovative teaching methods, and a world-class curriculum.
The Department of Quantum Intelligence has organized a Faculty Industrial visit to Velan Infra Projects Pvt Ltd, Annanagar, Chennai, on 12th December 2024. The visit was attended by 7 faculty members of our department, making it a highly enriching experience for gaining knowledge on Solar Power Systems and current AI trending technologies that boom the productivity of their firm. This visit has undoubtedly broadened our perspective on real-world solar power production challenges with its solutions and the importance of SCADA tool in the field.
The Department of Quantum Intelligence organized a Faculty Industrial visit to Tamil Nadu Smart And Advanced Manufacturing centre (TANSAM), Tidel Park, Chennai, on 09th January 2025. The visit was attended by a total of 10 faculty members attended, making it a highly enriching experience for gaining knowledge on the current AI models developed in AR/VR model rendering, Traffic maintanance systems and 3D printing.
The Department of Quantum Intelligence, SIMATS Engineering has conducted a one-day Technical Workshop on “From Code to Creation: How AI & Data Science Shape 3D Printing” on February 20, 2025.
The workshop featured Dr. R. Sivaperumal, CEO and Founder of Mithra 3D Tech, as the distinguished resource person. He shared profound insights into the integration of AI and Data Science in 3D printing technologies, highlighting innovative applications and real-world use cases developed by his organization. His session included live demonstrations of the 3D models that he has built.
The Department of Quantum Intelligence, SIMATS Engineering has organized a Career Awareness Workshop on “Opportunities in Japan for Engineers” on March 3, 2025.
We sincerely thank Mr. Karunanidhi Kasinathan, Managing Director & Founder of K - KCCS India Pvt Ltd, Chennai, for sharing his valuable insights into the career prospects for engineers in Japan. His session provided in-depth knowledge about job opportunities, industry demands, and essential skills required to excel in the Japanese job market. The interactive discussion helped students gain a clear understanding of global career pathways and professional growth opportunities abroad.
The Department of Quantum Intelligence, SIMATS Engineering has organized a Workshop on “Cloud Security and Challenges” on March 1, 2025.
We sincerely thank Dr. Poovendran, Sr. Cloud Engineer, Virtusa Pvt. Ltd, Bangalore, for sharing his valuable insights of Security aspects in Cloud Environment and related challenges. The interactive session helped students gain knowledge in career pathways in the Cloud Industry.
The Department of Quantum Intelligence has conducted a technical workshop on "Robotics" with the enthusiastic participation of 120 students, the session was both engaging and informative.

PixelBotix., for delivering an insightful session titled "Hands on Robotics - A Robomastery from Concept to Creation".
With the enthusiastic participation of 120 students, the session was both interactive and practical. He demonstrated the live creation of real-world robots and showcased food delivering robot which was developed during Covid and used in Government Hospitals. His presentation offered a clear understanding of how robotics play a major role in ensuring the precision and accuracy of development involved in manufacturing sector.
