Step 1 in creating a website is having an idea. Take a moment and think about or talk with your neighbor about what you want a website for. Is it to provide information? To interact with students? To post the best cat videos?

You should decide, however I would suggest having a website for all of the above! Post Lessons, leave instructions, have students post comments and work and even have a fun page to leave motivation messages, and even post funny videos to create a common language with your kids and coworkers!

Step 2 is design. Using a blank piece of paper, draw out what you want your site's home page to look like. If you want multiple pages you can also draw a site map, but we will do that later. I want you to leave today with a completed home page and be excited to add pages later!
