Leola Hall was added to the 2020 referendum toward the end of the process, which meant that initial design and bidding occurred as prices climbed due to the pandemic.  As a result, large cuts were made to the project, with a lot of intention to add necessary equipment later.  The addition is being built without all of the needed lighting, sound, and video equipment to make the space function efficiently.  If you are interested in making a donation to the cause, please contact us.

Leola Hall was made possible due to the generous donations of $1.766 million dollars from its namesake, Leola (Lea) Culver.

Much like the original construction of the River Arts Center, fundraising was managed by River Arts Inc, who also has committed a roughly $270,000 donation to the project.  Remaining funding was provided by the Sauk Prairie School District's 2020 referendum.
