Put your search terms inside of quotation marks " " to get a more precise match.
Use the minus sign to exclude certain words: jaguar speed -car
Combine searches for more results with OR: felines OR cats
Search for results in a specific domain or website: climate site:.gov, climate:.nationalgeographic.com

Search for related websites: related:newsela.com

Use keywords rather than full sentences. For example instead of typing in the following question, just pull out the keywords and search those words together:

Try searching: older dog training techniques

If that doesn't work, try adding or removing words or think of synonyms or other words that you you use instead:
