The Hampton Academy Library is open each and every day to all students in grades 6-8. The library is a place where students can get research help and instruction, learn about the latest research tools, take online courses, use technology, check out books, listen to book talks, work on study skills, create in the makerspace, and have plenty of space to work on projects or in study groups.

Students in all grades visit the library throughout the year with core teachers for lessons on topics such as using databases, citing sources, note-taking, plagiarism, online search strategies, website evaluation, online reference resources, and primary sources.

Students may have 5 books checked out out at a time. Library materials may be renewed for as long as needed provided there is not a waiting list for the item. Overdue notices are sent out to students on a monthly basis.
