Class Highlights

Falling into Fun in Grade 2!

We had so much fun exploring and practicing our balance skills on the nature trail.

Mrs. H's favorite spot on the nature trail... the rotting log.

We are so lucky to have our outdoor classroom space for our reading group time.

We all made our own 3-foot walking sticks to use when we hike and also for quickly finding safe distances with friends.

We are LOVING our Forest Fridays. On this day it was rainy and so we made a homemade slip and slide! It was fun!

Below are some more pictures of all the different kinds of learning that we are doing this year. We have learned about soil and it's "ingredients", we designed our own seed and dispersal parts, we planted tulips as part of a citizen science project called Journey North, we LOVE building forts and learning about the inside parts of trees in our forest classroom, and last, we learned about different NH tree species and had fun with the beautiful leaves that we found.

What a GREAT start to our year! We're looking forward to making more memories together !
