Back in the "dark ages" knowledge was limited and people were converting back into their barbaric ways. Mostly everyone agreed that the world was a sphere. But where that idea fell into pieces is that It was like a T in an O; the T was water, the O is the earth and everything else was every bit of land on it. Europe and Asia is most definitely not the only place on earth because well.. how am I not in Europe/Asia. In fact that is a small portion of the world. Still big but no where near as big as the earth. The dark ages were started when Rome was too big to maintain. It was like every civilization, it fell apart.
