Popcorn Word Activities

Here are some ideas to help your child master popcorn words:

• Spell popcorn words with magnetic letters
• Play Memory using pairs of popcorn words
• Write out a popcorn word and cut the letters apart- see if your child can put them back in the right order
• Practice popcorn words in shaving cream or pudding
• Play popcorn word bingo
• Write out a popcorn word and leave out a letter- see if your child can figure out the word
• Ask your child to make up a sentence using a particular popcorn word or words (orally)
