School Administrative Unit 50 Superintendent Search

Intro Thank you for your interest in the search for a new superintendent for SAU50. SAU50 comprises four separate town school districts, Greenland, New Castle, Newington, and Rye. The school boards of those four towns together comprise the SAU Joint Board.

The SAU50 Joint School Board has contracted with The Bryan Group (TBG), an educational search firm that specializes in Superintendent searches, to oversee this process. TBG will work with a committee of constituents from across the SAU, including parents, administrators, teachers and other community members throughout the fall of 2021 and winter of 2022 to find the best candidate to lead the SAU.
