Knights Against Hunger is a student-led organization at Kingswood Regional High School dedicated to fighting food insecurity within our local community. Through volunteer service, food drives, and weekly meal support, we strive to ensure that every child has enough to eat – and every student has a chance to make a difference.
Raised more than $100,000 in private donations.
Distributed more than 70,000 meals to students in need.
Currently distributing 20–50 bags weekly.
Knights Against Hunger has adapted and responded to the changing needs of students. In addition to ordering and inventory, the foods committee redesigned our entire ordering system. Families who rely on emergency food often end up with a surplus of certain shelf stable items and we observed that many students only wanted some of the items from our bags.

Shoutout to KRHS' own Health Science taught by Mrs. Krivitsky and Future Health Professionals (HOSA) chapter for making family-serving soup portions with guided recipes! Knights Against Hunger could not be prouder of your genuine efforts of combatting and removing the stigma around food insecurity.
Thank you so much to the KRHS Robotics Team "The Resistance" for collaborating with Knights Against Hunger to make celebratory birthday cakes for members of our anonymous weekend food bag delivery program! We admire your incredible kindness.
"By supporting Knights Against Hunger, you not only help students in our district who are in need, but you also help members such as myself continue to develop and grow as civic leaders. A core part of our group is that we students are the ones in charge of every branch of our organization. Monthly food orders, community outreach, correspondence with the community, food inventory, the packing of the bags, determining and developing new initiatives - student leaders do it all. Through this program we have not only learned the value of helping our community but the many steps it takes to run a successful non-profit organization. Without such support, Knights Against Hunger would not be able to serve those in need and we are so grateful for how considerate and receptive the community has been to our organization. Knights Against Hunger is very grateful for all of our supporters and to be located in such a considerate community." – Megan Twitchell
"Developing the next generation of civic leaders, one day at a time."
