Capstone

1/2 credit, Required

The Capstone experience is a culminating academic and intellectual experience . These projects are designed to encourage students to think critically, solve challenging problems, and enhance the community while developing skills such as oral communication, public speaking, research skills, media literacy, teamwork, planning, self-sufficiency, goal setting and time management.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Assignments submitted via Google Classroom for your YOG.


  1. Get your project approved. (Recommend completion by the end of the Junior year)
  2. Document 30 hours of Community Service with a recognized not-for-profit organization or a non-job-embedded private organization. (Recommend completion during the summer prior to Senior year)
  3. Reflect on the experience (2 pages)
  4. Poster Board & Presentation on Capstone Project Night (in April)
