Homework

In third grade, homework should take about 30 minutes. Please let me know if completing the nightly assignments goes well beyond that time. Part of the 30 minutes should include reading, practicing spelling words, and math fact practice.

**NOTE** All assignments are subject to change. Not everyone has the same homework, so please check your child's planner and folder.

Monday- spelling page

Tuesday- math fact page and a reading or language page

Wednesday- math skill pages

Thursday- spelling page

Your child may also take home class work sometimes to finish (including over the weekend). Each night please spend some time reading and practicing math facts. Spelling tests are each Friday, so practice spelling words during the week too.
