Summer Academy

Our Summer Academy was from July 16th through August 8th of 2019. We had four great weeks working with future fourth, fifth, and sixth grade students!

In language arts we reviewed many skills such as finding the main idea and detail of a story, using evidence to prove our answers to comprehension questions, analyzing poetry, and finding the moral of a folk tale.

In math we reviewed things such as place value, addition, subtraction, and multiplication skills, and fact fluency.

Each student was sent home with a chapter book of their choosing, a Kumon language arts and math workbook, and triangle flash cards to continue learning throughout the summer.

2020 ~ I am awaiting the dates for this summer's program from Student Services and will let you know as soon as I am informed of them.
