I am in my 20th year of teaching at Moore School and my fourth year in 1st grade... I absolutely {LOVE} my job and just can't imagine doing anything else! I graduated from the University of Maine @ Presque Isle in 1999 with a BS in Elementary Education and from Plymouth State University in 2010 with a M.Ed as a Reading/Writing Specialist. Without a doubt my favorite subject to teach is reading; you could say it's my passion. I love finding creative, new ways to teach and reach all my kiddos and there's something so magical about watching a child blossom into a reader during the school year!

I have been married to an amazing man, Aaron, for 13 years. Although we currently don't have human children we do have a furry, four legged one, Floyd.

When I'm not teaching I love to run (half marathons are my favorite), bake (I make delicious oatmeal cream pie cookies) and read (I love a good mystery!).
