Dear Parents/Guardians,

Veterans Day is approaching and HMS would like to honor our local Veterans in our school community. We need your help! If you have a family member or close friend, living or deceased, who is a Veteran, we would like to honor them in a photo presentation on Thursday 11/9/17.

Please send photos in to school to be scanned and returned no later than Friday 10/27/17. Please include a note stating how they served our country along with the child’s name and homeroom teacher. If you sent in a photo for Veterans Day last year you do not need to send a new one as we still have that on file.

We are also encouraging students, faculty, and staff to wear red, white, and blue on Thursday 11/9/17.

Respectfully,

The HMS Social Studies Committee
