Welcome to the 2020-2021 Course Registration website.

This site was developed for the purpose of providing returning students and their families with the information and forms necessary to complete their course registration from home.

This year, with our new School-within-a-School Model, high school students will have the opportunity to take online courses, required or elective determined by administration, that will give students the opportunity for academic advancement or credit recovery, that will fit in their Monday through Friday schedule. With our two Student Success Centers (SSC), students will have a comfortable, supervised space specficially designed to facilitate in student learning. *The class of 2021 was able to complete their course registration before Spring Break in March. Student schedules are already in the process for these students.*

HOW DO I REGISTER (instructions)

1) Go to the FORMS page.

2) Find and download the form for the grade your child will be entering for the 2020-2021 school year. Please review our Course Catalog for details about our courses.

3) Complete the fillable PDF, save, and email to registration@sasmaui.org

Form can be completed a few different ways;

• Print, fill out, scan and email to registration@sasmaui.org. You can also take a picture of the completed form and email that image if you're unable to scan.

or

• If you are unable to email, you may also print out the form, complete it, and then mail in your registration form to the school at 1618 Lower Main St., Wailuku 96793 Hawaii

or

• Download the form to your computer. From there you can 'click' in the open boxes and type in the info directly to the form. Then save it, and email to registration@sasmaui.org

• Classes for grade 6 are required. Courses include English, Math, Science, History, and Religion, along with Intro to Tech, Beginning Band, Art, and Physical Ed & Wellness.

• Core classes placement for grades 7 and 8 are determined by your previous school year records. Students must select their electives.

• Core classes for grades 9-12 are determined by your previous school year records. However, alternate and elective courses are selected by the student/parent based on course availability.

• All returning 12th graders previously met with Ms. Johnson to register for courses before Spring Break. Any new 12th grader students will be contacted directly by Mr. Yamashita or Ms. Johnson for registration information after notification of completed application with our admissions office.

• Required online courses, which are required for graduation, are determined by the Dean of Curriculum. These courses are a part of our School-within-a-School program and require no additional cost for the course (does not include ebooks and additonal fees). Fees for elective online courses are the responsibility of the student, unless determined by the Dean of Curriculum.
