I work in the kindergarten regular education classrooms with the regular education teachers. We use a team teach approach...some times I teach the whole group lesson, sometimes the classroom teacher does. We work together to ensure every student is learning!
My goal is to make learning fun and meaningful for all students.

Dear Parents,
I would like to take a minute to introduce or reintroduce myself. My name is Kerri Olsen. I have been teaching in SASD since 1998. I am married and have two boys who attend schools in SASD. They attended Wilson for elementary school. I love Wilson!
I am also your child’s ML teacher. ML stands for Multilingual Learner. I work with your child because at registration for SASD you indicated that he/she either speaks or hears a language other than English at home.
Some students are also receiving a little extra help outside of the regular classroom (in my classroom) with certain skills. We call this Wolfpack time. All kindergarten students are working on skills they need to practice at that time.
