Wei received her B.S. from University of Science and Technology of China in 2016 under the guidance of Prof. Junfa Zhu. Her undergraduate work focused on studying the interfacial properties of the perovskite solar cells using x-ray and synchrotron radiation photoelectron spectroscopy. She received her PhD in 2022 where her thesis focused on characterize the ultrafast dynamics of model copper complexes.
