Dabin received her M.S. from Ewha Womans University in 2015 under the guidance of Prof. Juyoung Yoon. Her M.S. degree work focused on synthesis and understanding of fluorescent probes for detection of endogenous and exogenous hydrogen peroxide in lysosome and glutathione selective near IR fluorescent probe.
After completing her masters degree, she continued her research focusing on tumor directing photodynamic therapy systems and fluorescent imaging based on graphene oxide.
Dabin received her PhD in 2022 focusing on charactering energy and charge transfer in photosystem I complexes and model dipyrrin based systems.
Dabin is currently a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Texas at Austin.
