Carolyn received a B.S. in Chemical Physics from the University of California, San Diego in 2016. Her undergraduate research initially focused on studying surfen binding to various forms of heparin utilizing fluorescence and absorption spectroscopy under the guidance of Prof. Yitzhak Tor. Later her research focused on studying infrared and raman spectroscopy of cubic and hexagonal ice using many body molecular dynamics under the guidance of Prof. Francesco Paesani. She is currently interested in multidimensional spectroscopy.
