Santa Paula High School is proud to offer the Human Services Academy, allowing students to participate in one of the two options: Child Development and Law. Child Development is one of the fastest-growing industries in the nation. Three of the fastest-growing segments of this industry are child-care services and individual, family, community, and vocational rehabilitation services. This option offers the following components: hands-on contextual learning, internships, community classroom, work experience education, and leadership skills development. While Law is a broad field that covers an array of occupations and offers students an opportunity to serve others and their communities. This option will prepare students to understand the American legal system and its importance to American life regarding criminal justice.

The Human Services Academy aims to provide the foundation for our graduates to continue their education with advanced degrees in Education, Child Development, and Family Services or areas of Law Enforcement at our local Ventura Community Colleges and industry-leading universities.
