Trash and Recycling

There is a large green trash bin located outside the house by the parking area, as well as a large blue recycling bin.

The recycling bin takes all recyclables except glass. Glass can go in the green trash bin.

Both trash and recycling are picked up on Wednesday mornings.

Fire Safety

There are smoke detectors in all bedrooms. The Carbon Monoxide detector is in the laundry area. A fire extinguisher can be found in the laundry area as well.

Other Safety Items

Breaker/ Fuse Box

The fuse box is located inside the laundry area near the half bathroom.

Climate Control- Heat and A/C

The house is equipped with radiant heat and an evaporative cooler: the thermostats for the heat are in all three bedrooms, the kitchen, and the living room.

To use the cooler: Turn knob (located above the piano) to 'Low' and just slightly open a window(s) where you want the the cool air to go. The air comes out of a central vent on the ceiling. Running it without window/s open will trip the breaker or burn out the motor. The cooler will not be available for use from Mid September to Mid May.

Since Santa Fe is a high desert climate many of our guests (along with us!) opt to leave the windows open-- especially at night when the temperature drops deliciously. Whichever option you choose: please do not run the cooler/Heat with the windows open.

BBQ Grill

The outdoor gas grill can be used all year. Please do not burn wood or other foreign materials, and never leave it unattended.

Landscaping

The landscaper comes on Mondays to clean up around the patios, driveway, and yard areas.

Extra Services

A range of options including wine, breakfast, baby equipment, etc. is available here . Find what you like and just let us know. We will make sure it is prepared for your arrival.
