The new session of 2025–26 kicked off with Overtone’s very first fundraiser and courtyard performance, blending purpose with performance. The event marked a powerful start to the club’s musical journey this year — echoing not just melodies, but meaning.
Organised by the newly elected Overtone Board, the event aimed to raise funds for upcoming musical initiatives and competitions. The courtyard came alive with a vibrant mix of acoustic solos, duets, and full-band performances that showcased the club’s rich diversity of genres — from soul and indie to classic rock and Hindi unplugged.
What made the event truly special was its interactive nature — a crowd-funded jukebox segment where students could request songs by contributing donations, turning the audience into co-creators of the show.
Thanks to the combined efforts of the musicians, tech team, design and media heads, and our enthusiastic school community, the fundraiser was a success — not just financially, but emotionally. The courtyard resonated with applause, laughter, and the warmth of shared rhythm.
Here’s to a year of more music, more memories, and more meaning.
Overtone 2025–26 has officially begun.
