Hello, my name is Gonzalo Arias. I was born in Santiago, Chile. I hold a PhD in Mathematics at the faculty of mathematics of Pontificia Universidad Católica in Santiago, Chile, where I was adviced by Eduardo Cerpa and Swann Marx.  Previously, I obtained my Mathematical Engineering diploma and MSc in Mathematics degree under the supervision of Patricio Guzmán and Eduardo Cerpa. 

Currently I am studying stability, controllability and stabilization properties for infinite dimensional coupled systems,  with emphasis on those where the constituents live in different time scales.
