Mrs. Acree

Hello! Welcome to my website.

I am very excited to be a teacher at Sangamon Valley! I actually graduated from SVHS in 2013. Then I went onto Eastern Illinois University where I earned my bachelor's degree in Mathematics with a Teaching Certification and Middle Level Endorsement. I graduated from EIU in May of 2017. I am continuing my education at EIU to obtain my master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction. Outside of school, I enjoy doing CrossFit, spending time with my family, and attending sporting events. I got married over the summer, so I am formally Miss Campbell and we got a puppy! She is a lab and german shephard mix, named Nala.

At SVHS, I teach Geometry, Geometry Concepts, and Algebra II. My schedule is listed below... On top of teaching, I am the Class of 2021 Class Sponsor and the SVMS and TCSV Assistant Girls Basketball Coach.

1: Data Period/Independent Study

2: Algebra II

3: Geometry Concepts

4: Geometry

5a: Geometry

5b: Lunch

6: Prep Hour

7: Algebra II

8: Math Study Hall

If you ever need help, you may come in during my study hall, data period, lunch, prep, or before school. If you would like to meet with me after school, please ask me if I will be here to help you. I often need to get to the middle school or TC right after the bell rings. However, if you find yourself needing help at night working on your homework, you can email me at or send me a message on Remind. (Text the number 81010 with this message, Geometry or Geometry Concepts @2a67e9b and Algebra II @7e4c6d - parents you may also be added to this group if you would like.)

I look forward to the school year ahead of us. GO STORM!

Test Correction Policy

If you do poorly on an exam, you can choose to correct your mistakes to earn back up to half of the problems missed on a quiz or test. There will be 2 test corrections allowed per semester in Geometry and Algebra II and 4 test corrections allowed per semester in Geometry Concepts.

Once you receive your graded quiz or test back in class and you decide you want to do corrections, please get a test corrections packet from the back of my classroom.

Remember, on the corrections packet, you need to indicate which test or quiz you are correcting problems from. Then, label each question that you decide to correct.
