Honors Music Ensembles Take the Stage in Spring 2023
Every year, students across the district are invited to audition for honor music ensembles.Â
In an honors music experience, selected students from a variety of schools collaborate with each other to rehearse and perform repertoire that is typically more challenging than what they may encounter in their school groups. They rehearse between three and seven times before performing in a quality venue under the direction of distinguished conductors. There is no fee to audition or participate, but students must make a commitment to attend all rehearsals and to practice the music outside of rehearsals. Audition information can be found on the VAPA Connections website.
The culminating concerts are free and open to the public.
These events are made possible with the financial support of the VAPA Foundation.
